Responsibilities
- Lead Project Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end execution of projects, from initial concept and planning through to final delivery and closure.
- Resource Management: Identify, acquire, and manage project resources, ensuring the team has the tools and support needed to succeed.
- Budget Control: Develop comprehensive project budgets and monitor spending to ensure projects remain financially viable.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, providing clear and regular updates on project status.
- Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment, conduct performance reviews, and mentor junior project managers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a corporate or technical environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field required; PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Asana.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to the Charlotte, NC area.
