Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and operations staff, to ensure alignment on goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues before they impact the timeline or budget.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication, ensuring transparency throughout the project.
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with company standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects with budgets exceeding $500,000.
- Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Must be willing to travel to various job sites throughout the Detroit metro area.
