Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for next-gen AI systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and AI specialists
- Develop proprietary algorithms for quantum-optimized neural networks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and patents for 2026 innovations
- Publish in Nature and Science journals on quantum-AI convergence
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Deep understanding of 2026's quantum hardware landscape
