Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Conduct security audits of existing cryptographic infrastructure
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in algebraic number theory and lattice-based cryptography
- Experience with NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography standardization process
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into practical implementations
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
