Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms optimized for 50+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Research emerging quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, photonic, ion trap)
- Define security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum technology standards
- Present breakthrough findings at premier quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction codes
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Strong background in quantum information theory and complexity
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
