Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing solutions for enterprise clients across finance, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability optimization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to translate theoretical models into functional systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Secure patents for novel quantum algorithms and system architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent peer-reviewed venues
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure multimillion-dollar R&D grants
- Published work on quantum supremacy demonstrations or quantum advantage
