Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures targeting 2026 technological milestones
- Lead development of error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Optimize hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum modules into existing cloud infrastructures
- Develop quantum software SDKs accessible to classical developers
- Drive patent creation for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record designing quantum circuits with >100 qubit coherence
- Expertise in quantum error correction (surface/LDPC codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic, ion traps)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience securing $10M+ quantum computing research grants
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum optimization
