Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and cryptography

- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum computing research initiatives
- Develop educational frameworks to accelerate quantum literacy in enterprise environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing NSF or DARPA grants for quantum computing projects
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
