Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Design and validate quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Author breakthrough research papers for IEEE Nature journals
- Secure $2M+ in government and private funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on classified quantum simulation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier-1 institution
- 5+ years experience with quantum annealing and superconducting qubits
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government contracts
- Proficiency in Python/C++ for quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with cryogenic quantum systems
