Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for AI integration across all Nexus Horizon products leading up to the 2026 launch cycle.
- System Design: Architect scalable, secure, and efficient machine learning pipelines and cloud-native applications using microservices architecture.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Guide a team of junior architects and data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., quantum-ready algorithms, edge AI) to determine their applicability for the 2026 roadmap.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge the gap between technical complexity and business objectives, translating requirements into robust technical specifications.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for novel AI methodologies to ensure Nexus Horizon remains market leaders.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and distributed systems. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is required.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to look beyond current trends and identify long-term technological shifts relevant to 2026.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving ambiguous problems and delivering high-quality software under tight deadlines.
