Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient AI and machine learning infrastructure aligned with the company's 2026 strategic goals.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to transition R&D prototypes into robust, production-ready AI solutions.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and LLM architectures to maintain our competitive edge.
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to define technical requirements and deliverables.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, model deployment, and data governance across the organization.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Ensure all AI solutions comply with ethical AI standards and federal data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML systems.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proven track record of designing large-scale distributed systems and deploying deep learning models in production.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and edge computing is highly preferred.
