Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications through stakeholder interviews and process mapping
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends and opportunities
- Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure alignment between business and development teams
- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
- Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features based on ROI and business impact
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to track project success
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to drive consensus on strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services or SaaS
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven ability to translate complex business concepts into technical requirements
- Experience with process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Portfolio demonstrating successful business analysis projects
