Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for high-stakes federal projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to translate complex business needs into detailed requirements documentation
- Design and maintain process flows, data models, and system specifications using industry-standard tools
- Conduct quantitative analysis of operational data to identify optimization opportunities and performance metrics
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solution feasibility and provide continuous clarification
- Present findings to executive leadership through compelling visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain comprehensive traceability matrices between requirements, test cases, and deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive business analysis experience in public sector or regulated industries
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and requirement elicitation techniques
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), and process modeling (BPMN)
- Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent business analysis designation
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
