Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, define project scope, and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Process Modeling: Design and document detailed process flows, use cases, and system requirements using tools like UML, BPMN, or flowcharts.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT departments, ensuring clear communication and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive user stories, functional requirements documents (FRD), and technical specifications to ensure seamless project execution.
- Reporting: Develop and present regular performance reports and business intelligence dashboards to leadership to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes of business problems and proposing effective solutions.
