As a Business Analyst at Boston Tech Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with senior analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure our products meet market demands and drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Support Requirement Gathering: Assist senior analysts in conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to identify business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation including user stories, process flows, and requirement specifications.
- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for process improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on project goals.
- Process Mapping: Utilize tools like Visio or Lucidchart to map current and future state business processes.
- Testing Support: Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by documenting test cases and reporting bugs.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong logical thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) is required; SQL or Python knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
