Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for complex software systems.
- Process Improvement: Design and model current and future state business processes using BPMN and UML to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Agile Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the IT development team, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, functional specifications, and system acceptance criteria (SAC) to ensure clear development guidance.
- Change Management: Support the change management process by training end-users and managing the transition to new systems or processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or data-driven environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (querying and data manipulation) and strong Excel skills. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is mandatory.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Enterprise Architect is a plus.
