Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for software development projects.
- Conduct comprehensive business process modeling, including the creation of flowcharts, use cases, and user stories using Agile methodologies.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project deliverables.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current business processes and future system capabilities.
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to uncover unarticulated needs.
- Translate complex business needs into technical specifications for the engineering team.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or blockers to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Information Technology sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting; experience with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience serving as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with requirement management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or IBM DOORS.
