Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements.
- Process Modeling: Design and document current state and future state process flows using BPMN and UML to drive operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Documentation: Create high-quality user stories, functional specifications, and system requirement specifications (SRS) in JIRA.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure developed solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, risk management, and timeline adherence for key business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within an Agile framework.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Denver, CO office or hybrid.
