Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll for 250+ employees
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Lead month-end/quarter-end close processes with timely reporting to executive leadership
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to C-suite
- Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
- Mentor finance team members and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in corporate controller role
- Expertise in SOX compliance and public company reporting (SEC filings)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP) and BI tools (Tableau)
- Demonstrated success in multi-entity accounting environments
- Strong strategic financial planning and M&A integration experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial data
- Active Colorado CPA license or ability to obtain within 90 days
