Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Oversee accounts payable, payroll, and tax compliance functions
- Collaborate with executive team on budgeting and forecasting
- Drive process improvements in accounting systems and workflows
- Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 8+ years in corporate accounting with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite/ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in gaming/hospitality industry preferred
- Proven track record in process optimization projects
