Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the deployment of comprehensive IT and AV infrastructure across multiple World Cup fan zones and VIP venues.
- Collaborate with international broadcast partners to ensure seamless live-streaming and media connectivity.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts for hardware rentals, networking equipment, and on-site technical support.
- Lead a dedicated team of network engineers, AV technicians, and IT support staff.
- Develop robust contingency and disaster recovery plans to ensure zero downtime during critical match days.
- Monitor real-time network performance and troubleshoot technical issues with extreme urgency and precision.
- Ensure all technological deployments comply with FIFA regulations and local cybersecurity standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in event technology management, specifically handling large-scale public events or stadium operations.
- Deep technical understanding of enterprise-grade networking, Wi-Fi 6 deployment, and fiber optic infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing budgets exceeding $1M and leading cross-functional technical teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive under intense pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, aligned with the 2026 match schedule.
- Certifications such as PMP, CCNA, or CTS are highly preferred.
