Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/year-end close processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting workflows
- Mentor and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting operations and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment preferred
