Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, and month-end closing processes
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting systems
- Mentor a team of 3-5 accounting professionals
- Prepare board-level financial presentations and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Excel modeling
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and ERP implementations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Corporate or financial services industry background essential
