Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll systems
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and reporting
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with executive team on financial strategy and risk management
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience with 5+ in leadership
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and SOX regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in agricultural or manufacturing industries
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
