Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and audits
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and GAAP
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes
- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow operations
- Collaborate with executive team on M&A transactions and capital allocation
- Mentor finance staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years in corporate finance leadership
- Experience in SEC reporting and public company accounting
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel modeling
- Proven track record in team management (5+ direct reports)
- Strong understanding of Louisiana tax regulations and state incentives
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-suite
