Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/quarter-end closing processes including consolidation and reporting
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for SOX compliance
- Lead annual budgeting and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash flow operations
- Present financial analyses to executive leadership and board committees
- Direct tax planning and compliance across multi-state operations
- Mentor finance team members and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 7+ years progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 public accounting background with corporate controller experience
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Demonstrated success in SEC reporting and technical accounting guidance
- Expertise in complex consolidation for multi-entity organizations
- Strong leadership background with team management experience
- Knowledge of Louisiana tax regulations and Gulf Coast markets
