Responsibilities
- Lead month-end closing processes and financial reporting for $500M+ portfolio
- Develop and implement internal controls compliant with FAR and DFARS regulations
- Manage federal contract accounting and indirect rate negotiations
- Oversee audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and workflows
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership
- Mentor junior accounting staff and build high-performance team culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years in corporate finance with 3+ years in federal contracting
- Expertise in GAAP, FAR, and government compliance standards
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven track record in financial systems implementation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing teams of 5+ finance professionals
