Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for corporate clients
- Lead audit engagements and liaise with external auditors
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and reporting tools
- Mentor junior finance team members and provide financial guidance
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 8+ years in corporate finance with 3+ years in controller role
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing audit processes and financial reporting
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Local Tampa Bay residency preferred
