Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and month-end/quarterly closing processes
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and financial integrity
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis to executive leadership
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and cost management
- Manage banking relationships and negotiate favorable financial terms
- Prepare financial reports for board meetings and regulatory filings
- Mentor finance team members and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle) and BI tools
- Experience in manufacturing or corporate finance environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for executive presentations
