Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Oversee financial reporting including GAAP-compliant statements and investor deliverables
- Manage internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives
- Direct accounting team of 5+ professionals with mentorship and development focus
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning and analysis
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in controller role
- Public accounting background and SEC reporting experience essential
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite/SAP)
- Demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Immediate availability required for onboarding
