Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with 100% accuracy
- Manage and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure SOX compliance and implement internal controls
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning
- Drive process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Present financial insights to stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 5+ years in leadership roles managing accounting teams
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and financial modeling
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA preferred)
- Fortune 500 or public company experience required
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
