Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end close processes and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Manage accounting team of 5+ professionals with mentorship focus
- Ensure SOX compliance and implement internal controls
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning
- Optimize financial systems and process improvements
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 8+ years in corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in manufacturing or tech sector preferred
