Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations including month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Manage financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll departments
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and workflows
- Mentor and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years progressive accounting experience in corporate environments
- 5+ years in leadership roles managing teams
- Expertise in SOX compliance and financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings
