Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting functions including month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- Lead financial compliance initiatives ensuring adherence to GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and optimize operational efficiency
- Manage and mentor a team of 5+ accounting professionals
- Collaborate with executive team to drive strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Coordinate external audits and manage banking relationships
- Lead system implementations and process improvements for financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into strategic insights
- Proven track record in process optimization and team development
- Corporate finance experience in regulated industries preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
