Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and their business implications
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation maturity
- Conduct scenario planning for potential technological disruptions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Publish thought leadership on emerging tech trends and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published author in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE preferred)
