Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their 2026 market implications
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate design thinking workshops with global stakeholders to identify future opportunities
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility for experimental ventures
- Build and lead a high-performing innovation team of futurists and technologists
- Pioneer partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of launching successful products/services based on future trends
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFP) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology journals
- Experience leading teams of 10+ professionals in matrixed environments
