Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast industry trajectories through 2026
- Design and lead strategic foresight initiatives including scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis workshops
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to translate foresight insights into tangible innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven visualizations
- Establish and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership content and white papers on emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech disruption vectors
- Proven experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio demonstrating trend-to-strategy translation
- Strong statistical modeling and data visualization capabilities (Python/R, Tableau preferred)
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or industry publications
- Experience advising C-suite on innovation adoption and organizational transformation
