Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology foresight frameworks for 2026-2030 horizon
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives on disruptive tech trends
- Author quarterly 'Future State' reports analyzing convergence of AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Design innovation pipelines for next-gen human-machine interfaces and sustainable energy systems
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight into market-ready solutions
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.) as industry thought leader
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental KPIs for strategic innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Published research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) in peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, cross-impact matrix)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year tech roadmaps
- Experience with patent analysis and IP strategy for emerging domains
