Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotechnology, AI, climate tech, and space exploration
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future scenario planning
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech impact
- Advise executive team on strategic investments in disruptive technologies
- Build and maintain global network of futurists and domain experts
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism role
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption curves with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience developing scenario planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio of successful innovation initiatives launched from foresight insights
