Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures mapping
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and innovation pipelines
- Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops to align cross-functional teams on future opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact foresight deliverables including trend reports, strategic briefs, and innovation roadmaps
- Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and future-oriented thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex future concepts into actionable business strategies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research abilities with experience in data visualization and storytelling
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects that directly influenced organizational strategy or innovation outcomes
