Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable strategic initiatives
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and implement horizon scanning processes for emerging technologies
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
- Mentor junior futurists and build the company's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in technology trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, and climate tech disruption vectors
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Horoscope, Delphi method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
