Responsibilities
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Direct project planning, scope definition, and execution for diverse software development projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing expectations and delivering regular status updates.
- Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Adapt project management methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) based on project requirements to maximize efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team workloads and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: PMP, CAPM, or PgMP certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management within the IT or software industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Asana.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to San Diego, CA.
