Responsibilities
- Lead & Direct: Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution and closure.
- Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Agile Mastery: Manage projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring sprint goals are met and delivery timelines are adhered to.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and senior leadership, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team resources and manage budgets effectively to maximize project ROI.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in Project Management, specifically within the software or IT industry.
- Certification: PMP, CAPM, or Prince2 certification is strongly preferred.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall frameworks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must reside in San Diego, CA and be available for occasional in-office meetings.
- Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
