Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear updates on project status, roadblocks, and deliverables.
- Manage budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost control.
- Implement and monitor Agile or Waterfall methodologies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably within the government or consulting sectors in the DC area.
- PMP, PgMP, or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Expert proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines without compromising quality.
