Job Description
We are on the precipice of a technological revolution, and we need visionaries to build it. Apex Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Architect to lead the charge in preparing our infrastructure for the global quantum standard of 2026. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum mechanics and practical, scalable software solutions. You won't just be coding; you will be defining the architecture that powers the next generation of computational supremacy.
If you are obsessed with the future of computing and possess the expertise to navigate the complexities of quantum error correction and superposition, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum computing solutions tailored for 2026 deployment environments.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex problems in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning.
- Implement robust error mitigation strategies and error correction protocols for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and hardware engineers to integrate quantum modules into classical cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and quantum researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging quantum hardware architectures and quantum software stacks.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in quantum computing or quantum simulation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Proven track record of publishing research or leading high-impact technical projects in the quantum domain.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
