Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of 2026 World Cup infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with FIFA and local municipal standards.Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and international partners to ensure cohesive execution.Develop comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate potential delays or budget overruns.Monitor project progress using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, providing real-time reporting to executive leadership.Ensure all facilities meet accessibility and safety regulations well in advance of the 2026 tournament.Manage a budget exceeding $10M, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale event or construction sectors.Proven track record of managing budgets exceeding $10M.Strong knowledge of international sports event regulations and logistics.PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is highly preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to high-level executives.Ability to travel within the United States as required for site visits.
