What You Will Do:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the official World Cup digital ticketing and fan engagement platforms.
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
- Oversee the integration of IoT and cloud infrastructure within stadium environments.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with large-scale global events.
- Establish agile workflows and governance frameworks for rapid iteration and deployment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology projects, preferably in event management or sports.
- Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Asana).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and cybersecurity standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- PMP or PgMP certification is highly preferred.
- Must be available for occasional travel to stadium sites and off-site meetings.
Responsibilities
- Direct the execution of the stadium Wi-Fi and 5G rollout strategy for the 2026 event.
- Collaborate with international vendors to ensure seamless data interoperability.
- Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive the roadmap for real-time data analytics and spectator engagement tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical project management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex software solutions in fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and conflict resolution.
