Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end closing, financial reporting, and budget management
- Lead external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and optimize processes
- Manage financial systems implementation and process improvements
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Direct accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and treasury functions
- Mentor and develop high-performing finance team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience managing audits and implementing financial controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in corporate finance or public accounting required
