Apex Innovations is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs. As a Business Analyst, you will own the end-to-end analysis process, from gathering requirements to defining successful implementation strategies. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications and user stories.
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven process improvement strategies.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure accurate implementation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Document system flows, use cases, and functional specifications using industry-standard tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project updates and risk mitigation throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
