Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and stakeholder interviews to gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements for software development projects.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, concise functional specifications and user stories for the engineering team.
- Map current state and future state business processes using flowcharts, wireframes, and BPMN to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project progress and communicate risks or blockers to senior leadership effectively.
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support documentation to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the IT/software industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying databases for data analysis.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying business gaps.
